he bought five watches from me
payment received high quickly
be patient and respect him thank you
: As many of you that know me, I am very straight forward, fair and
: honest. I always attempt to help whenever I can in the
: community, and my passion for this hobby has grown over the
: years from all the people I have interacted with and also met in
: person. The commonality of this collecting "virus"
: brings us all together and we might be a small group in
: comparison to other hobbies, yet I feel we are much stronger and
: true to the passion than various other hobbies.
: I have had an issue that I have been trying to have resolved for
: the last several months, and after many excuses, lies, etc...I
: had no choice but to bring this out publicly...
: I will let you judge the situation and what the "buyer",
: Nelson Tang, has done, and listen to any suggestions you might
: Keep in mind, I have met Nelson in person, and have bought, sold,
: traded with him before, with the knowledge of the fact that he
: is not the most "timely" person to pay, which I am
: sure many of you know, but being "late" on payment is
: not the same thing as lying about it....
: So let's get started...
: I sold Nelson two watches at the end of November 2018, and also
: shipped both to him without payment, since I had
: "thought" I knew him, as a fellow collector and
: friend. He advised me that he was going to wire funds the
: following week, which I assumed would happen, since that is what
: he promised. Week went by, and I followed up, and he said he was
: traveling and would send it that week.
: After several more attempts and no answers back, he replies back on
: 01/22, that he was "hospitalized" and was now back on
: his feet, will take care of the wire in a day or two....ok,
: fine...things happen in life, I get it...
: Again, days go by, no funds transferred, after several attempts to
: get a hold of him, he finally replies back on 02/01 that he was
: taking care of it on "Monday" and will send in two
: parts, due to some "online limit"....
: I can go on and on with this same scenario...ALSO keep in mind that
: throughout this fiasco, I had advised him several times that he
: should send my things back if he did not want them or didn't
: have the funds for them...
: I called him last week on the phone, and I think he accidentally
: picked up his phone, and he said he was at the "bank"
: making the wire as we spoke, since sending via PayPal was going
: to cost him too much, and he preferred to wire.... guess
: what...no funds yet...
: I apologize if I bored you guys, but hoping I can get some advice
: or help with dealing with this situation. Of course I need the
: funds or my watches back, but what bothers me the most with this
: situation isn't the money as much as the lies and also taking
: advantage of people like this.
