Lemania has produced some of the finest chronograph movements, including the 27 CHRO 12C, the ancester of the mythical Omega 321. But Lemania has also produced some great watches, and a few exceptional ones. This striking and unique chronograph from the early 50s is one of them.
Inside a lightly worn, but unpolished 36mm steel case with a screwed caseback and round pushers, Lemania has placed a 27 CHRO 12C under an incredible (and we mean incredible) tricolor triple scale dial. Yes, this dial features a telemeter, a tachymeter, but also a pulsometer. Each scale in a distinct color makes the overall perfectly readable, aesthetically pleasing and ultra-rare. The golden numeral indexes and hands just add to the “wow” effect.
Look twice, you may not come across another one soon.
Model: Triple scale chronograph
Year: Circa 1950
Case materiel: Stainless steel
Movement: Manual, 27 CHRO 12C
Overall condition is excellent. The dial is flawless, the case shows very little wear and remains unpolished (look at that crispy bezel). The movement was serviced, as usual.
I am asking 6800€ for this unique piece. The watch and myself are in France.
