For sale is my vintage Sinn Chronograph. Let me start by saying, the watch is quite rare and a bit of a unicorn watch for Sinn. I have only been able to find 3 other references of the watch and mine appears to be in the best condition.
As you research vintage Sinn, you’ll find that very few, if any, are alike. What I have found is that Sinn being originally a very small company, would use other large companies to assemble some of their inventory on contract, and wouldn’t pay much attention to details on crowns, hands, etc.
I purchased the watch from a private collector in Europe who claimed the watch had been serviced in the last year, although I have no paperwork. It has been keeping good time for me and minute counter lines up properly. Case is in very good condition. There are scratches here and there but this is quite normal for a watch this many years old. The only thing to note condition wise is a slight indentation between 1 and 2 on the dial. It’s hard to see when on the wrist and only can been seen when looking closely at the dial.
The watch is likely powered by a Landeron 248 movement and I would guess around 37-38mm in diameter. Lug width is 18mm.
I will ship with vintage beads of rice bracelet and bandrbands leather band.
Asking price is $2,250 USD. I’ll pay for shipping you cover the 3% paypal.
