Re: Found: Heuer Autavia valjopux 72 *PIC*

: Thanks Paul your advice and comments are much appreciated,

: only one word describes this mega bargain....

: PUKKA!

: a bit surprised with the lack of responses from this
: "supportive" group. You are right, between the lugs it
: does say 2446 and going through onthedash, i have seen a few
: quite similar examples. Am i right in deducing that it should
: have the dagger type hands rather than the straight hands it
: has? i was womdering if any other members have any ideas or
: images i could compare it to.

: Anyone know where i can get proper hands for my newly aquired
: original 2446 autavia (for a mere ~ $600) ?

: (an elated) andy pandy

Andy - I have posted this picture before of two of my Autavias. The one on the right is the same as yours but has the pointed steel hands similar to those found on the first Autavia model. It has the same bezel but mine is faded to grey (I assume it was once black). Its one of my favourite pieces. I think you scored a bargain because the seller misspelled Heuer (Hever). There would have been a lot more interest had the seller done the job properly, not that you are complaining. See Marks comments on why you have had little response from the forum. I'm a new member and have found the members to be most helpful.
Regards Paul
