Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. FS: Pontiac 817 Lemania1872 civilian Viggen SwAF/SAAF*new price*

Pontiac Jumping 817 - a civilian version of the issued Lemania used by the Swedish Air Force (Viggen) and by the South African Air Force. Pontiac was a brand mainly intended for the belgian market and Pontiac delivered other models to the Belgian Air Force. This watch was probably civilian and is more or less identical to the Tissot Navigator, Rotary, Selectron, Rodania etc.

Steel case, approx 40-41 mm without crown and pushers, 20 mm lugs. The case is in good condition with normal signs of use. The caseback has a few light scratches, the inside is marked 817. The upper pusher is very slightly bent but it is working properly. The bidirectional aluminum bezel is faded (“ghost”). The acrylic crystal has a few light marks.

Matte black dial in very good condition, shadows in the photos are from the crystal. The creamy tritium lume has aged nicely. Hands show signs of ageing.

Movement - Lemania 1872 - working fine and keeping time. Chronograph hands start, stop and reset.

Sold head only.

Price 4900 Euro, or best offer. The watch is in Sweden, worldwide shipping possible. Plenty of references from OTD/Chronotrader available.
