FS: Hamilton Odyssee 2001 (driver watch) with box and bracelet

Since I have a new Enicar purchase underway, I'm letting go my Hamilton Odyssee 2001 MkI automatic from 1969. The Odyssee 2001 is part of Hamilton's Fontainebleau model line and refers to the Stanley Kubrick classic '2001 - A Space Odyssey'. To avoid legal issues with the MGM Studios, Hamilton decided to use the French translation of the word Odyssey, hence the name Odyssee. This specific MkI was only produced for one year.

This watch is also known as a driver's watch, because of the case shape and the way it sits on the wrist. The case diameter is 38mm without crown, and 38mm lug to lug. Inside is a Hamilton signed automatic movement with 17 jewels. I will add the original mesh bracelet apart, since I fitted a slightly different one on the watch. Personally, I didn't find the original bracelet comfortable enough. One thing you should know is that the hour hand misses a chip of lume. Otherwise the watch is in great condition. The dial, case and crown are almost mint!

I'm looking for 1.5k Euro net + insured shipping. Reasonable offers will be considered. Since this is a vintage watch and I'm a private seller, I cannot give any guarantees, nor can I advice taking this watch into the water.

Thanks for looking!
