For sale is this vintage sailing chronograph, Aquastar Regate. The chronograph counts down the last 5 minutes before the start of the race. As soon as the start button is pressed, the seconds hand is zeroed and the disks are colored red. Subsequently, the disks turn blank during countdown. The watch has been recently serviced by a reputable repair facility. The watch is in immaculate mechanical condition. It keeps very good time for an automatic. Very good cosmetic condition, with only faint scratches on the backplate. Swiss made. Specifications: Diameter 37 mm without crown; Acrylic crystal; Original crown signed "Aquastar"; Black used leather strap with original stainless buckle; Automatic Felsa movement; Rotor is signed "Aquastar Watch Co. 17 Jewels Swiss Unadjusted"; The backplate is signed "Aquastar Regate - Swiss Made - Automatic - Stainless Steel - 100% Waterproof - Incabloc - Antimagnetic," and the serial number.
