Re: Movement is wrong (is a later V7733)
In Response To: (Message Deleted by Poster) ()

Gianluca,
I used to own exactly the same watch with a Valjoux 7733 and have also seen several other of these third execution 7763C also with the 7733 movement.
Of course these movements could be fitted later but would seem to be a few out there and the changeover from 7730 to 7733 was around 1970/1 when these last compressor variants were issued.
Possibly the listing just needs to state it is 7733 not 7730.
Cheers,

Tony

: Hello,
: The movement fitted inside should be an early Valjoux 7730 but
: instead there is a later Valjoux 7733 (the evolution of the
: V7730).

: So, even if is a really nice watch, the buyer should take this fact
: into account.

: Best.

: Gianluca
