Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. FS: RARE Breitling Chronomat 18K Gold Chronograph 81950,1st Gen.

Here is a RARE 18K yellow gold Breitling chronograph with an automatic val. 7750 movement.
What makes it rare is the fact that it was one of the limited number produced around 1990 with a rare case back showing an airplane with BREITLING underneath and case reference number 81950 plus low serial number.
Search the Internet and you will find only a few offered for sale.
Also the depth rating indicated on the back cover is 5 ATM, not 10ATM as later ones.
The now faint writing also indicated the following: SWISS MADE 18K WATER RESISTANT 50M.
The watch is in very good condition.
The case measures 40.7 mm across w/o the crown, 45 mm long.
37.2 mm across the uni-directional bezel, without the tabs and screws.
Dial, hands and crystal in very good condition.
The dial has the look of much desired and expensive STELLA dials!!
It has a glossy lacquer look and is dark blue. A great feature is the screw down crown and screw down back cover.
The case has a few tiny nicks and one a bit more prominent on the side by 1:30 position.
A few scratches on the back cover and back of mid case, not too deep.
The bezel is uni-directional.
Quickset date aperture at 3 o'clock.
Nice blue alligator strap is still in very good condition.
This watch as you see it, weighs 119.4 grams!!!
The 18K solid gold buckle is original Breitling.
The usable circumference of case and strap will fit a 7.5 inch wrist, may be larger.
All functions are working, the watch runs about 30 seconds slow a day.
We do not guaranty the watch for water resistance!
Any water damage while in your possession is your responsibility.
There is some patina here and there on the gold surface.
We can remove with a rouge cloth if you so request.
Any questions, please e-mail. The watch is priced here at $6000
