FS: Universal Geneve Polerouter 'Glossy Dial'

Hi CT,

Here I have a really beautiful Universal Geneve Polerouter for your consideration.

Maker: Universal Geneve Polerouter
Model: 204612-2
Functions: Date
Case Material: Stainless Steel
Case Width: 35mm
Case Thickness: 10mm
Crystal: Original UG-signed plexiglass
Lume: Yes, tritium
Lug Width: 19mm
Box/Papers: N/A

The history and heritage this watch carries within it’s well-known: the airline SAS (Scandinavian Airline System) opened new routes to shortcut the flights from Europe to the US, going through the north pole. This required a new, more durable and sturdy watch. That’s when Gerald Genta designed this iconic watch, the Universal Geneve Polerouter.

In particular, this Polerouter features a black glossy dial. It’s beautiful under the sun light. Everything is correct on this watch for the period (we date it from the 1963-1965) and reference (204612-2): big signed-crown, applied logo, dauphine hands and 36mm case.

The case is well-worn, probably unpolished before. The case back logo is still visible, aswell as the reference number and serial. The crystal is original to the watch, with the correct logo on the center.

If I had to describe this watch with one word, it would be ‘versatile’. Dress it up or down with just a change of strap.

PRICE: 1400€ NET TO ME + SHIPPING.
Watch and I are located in Madrid, Spain. EU deals are preferred, but I'll be happy to do overseas as well.
