FS: Favre Leuba Bathy 160 ~ Huge & Rare Orange Diver ~ Nr Mint

Greetings,

Here's an amazing vintage dive watch in near mint condition. I usually hesitate to say 'you'll never find a better one,' but in this case I think it applies. It is massive and heavy, measuring 42.5mm x 48mm diameter; 22mm thickness. The bright tangerine orange pops like no other watch I've worn. The manual winding movement is running well; she's keeping great time. This watch features a proprietary movement that Favre-Leuba developed with Peseux, a highly-regarded movement manufacturer that made some of the finest time-only movements during this era. I have not checked the depth gauge by submerging the watch. The only things of note condition wise are a few scratches near the screw-down crown, a small bubble to the right of the arrow pointer on the bezel, and a few small bezel scratches. I have included a ChronoTrader tagged image. I have not attempted to open the case back for fear of scratching it; if you are a serious buyer and need a movement photo, let me know and I will visit the watchmaker. I have references on ChronoTrader, WatchUSeek, TimeZone and eBay.

$4400

I offer a three day inspection period: once you receive the watch, you have three days to check it out, enjoy it, show it to your watchmaker. You can contact me at any time in those three days and return it--for any reason--in the same way that it was shipped to you. I'll inspect it on receipt and if everything's the same as when I sent it, you'll get an immediate refund minus any shipping costs or payment fees I incurred.

Cheers,
Morgan
