FS: Cadola Poor Man's Heuer Carrera Landeron 248 SS

For sale from my personal collection is this amazing 1970’s Cadola Racing Chronograph featuring a Landeron 248 movement. Does the model seem familiar? Correct! It is a lot like a Heuer Carrera but at a fraction of the price.

"Heuer, while making some of the finest and most popular racing chronographs of the 1960s under their own name, produced and assembled watches for a number of other brands, including Hamilton, Clebar, Zodiac, Vantage, Buren, Tradition etc... These Heuer-made, other-branded watches were mostly 2- or 3-register chronographs in all white/silver, all black, or a combination of the two. "

The watch is in excellent condition, the acrylic domed crystal is scratchfree, the stainless steel case has never been polished and is in a great condition for a watch over 40 years old.
The bright silver sunburst dial has got recessed subcompaxes, a tachyring and beautiful applied markers.

Diameter without crowns is 35.2mm, with crown 38.8mm, 42.7mm length, 12,1 mm thickness including the highly domed 3.1mm crystal, it wears bigger than the numbers suggest. Lugsize is 18mm and the watch comes on a new handmade Italian period leather racing strap.

Service: Unknown service history, keeps good time, winding and setting the time are very smooth, the chrono is working as it should and resets perfectly, pushers work crisply.

I am located in The Netherlands
