FS: Rolex GMT 1675 w/ Faded Fat Insert

Greetings all --

I've decided to part ways with my beloved Rolex GMT 1675. I'm just not wearing it as much as I used to. The movement was serviced/overhauled at Tiny Jewel Box, a Rolex AD, in Washington D.C. in February 2018 at a cost of $1200.

As you can see, the watch is in extremely nice condition. Serial number is 545xxxx, which dates it to very late 1977 or very early 1978. The case back is gently engraved with a 1978 date. See photos below.

The dial is nearly perfect with no scratches or marks. All of the small specks you see are dust on the crystal at magnification. The lume plots are in top condition and the hands have aged beautifully. The case looks like it was polished some time long ago, but is still very thick. The insert has aged to a lightly faded blueberry/raspberry shade.

I'm asking a very reasonable $13,500.

Insured shipping within the United States is free, and international buyers will split the cost with me. Payment via bank wire, transferwise, or Paypal gift. Plenty of references from this forum and the watch world in general.
