FS: ROLEX RED SUBMARINER 1680 Mk4 from 1970

For Vintage Rolex collectors

Selling An Excellent Condition, 1970 Rolex 1680 Red Submariner Mk4 on Mk1 insert and 9315 bracelet with 380 end links, with 2 plexy and period box.

2.9m is the case stamping so this was probably one of the first production runs in 1969.

The Patina is great and matching the hands and dial.
Dial very deep nice black with very bright Red that just jumps out at you.
This is one of the finest Red Submariners collectible items.

The watch is running well and keeping a good time.
Don´t know last service.

CASE: Oyster 40mm polished stainless steel case with SS original Mk1 Fat Font bezel - Pearl is matching dial patina, triplock crown.
The case has been polished but has a lot of thickness and is perfect. The crown protectors are very fat !
Screw down back design for water-resistant seal.

BRACELET: 9315/380 Full length folded link bracelet with 380 end pieces as it should be.
Oysterlock foldable clasp properly hallmarked.

MOVEMENT: Swiss made caliber 1570 mechanical selfwinding movemet. Functions : Hours, minutes, seconds, date € 3 O'clock . Cosc Certified.

DIAL: Mate black dial Mark 4 version with a wonderfull and perfect creamy patina. The hands are nicely aged and matching the dial nicely. A VERY SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE RARE AND
