FS: Longines Skin Diver Ref.8248-1, cal. 501

Hi,

This is a 1970 Longines Skin Diver Ref.8248-1, cal. 501 delivered to Italy. it is the rare cousin of the Ultra-Chron and has some beautiful design elements in common, including stunning bakelite bezels and orange/red minute hands.

For me, the traditional 37mm and diver's case make this a perfect contemporary witness to the wild 70s.
It comes with the archive extract and the last service was done in 2017, so of course it runs flawlessly and accurately. The condition is very nice, including the bakelite bezel.
Also included is an original Tropic with original Longines buckle.
The price is 1700€ obro and I don't really want to swap (I am trying to reduce my collection). Except maybe something from Enicar or with a Valjoux 72, I might get weak.

Cheers,
Matthias
PS: much feedback on the german Uhrforum, Instagram and eBay
