FS: Gigandet Wakmann Breitling Triple Date Datora Chronograph (1

Known mainly for their closely association with the Breitling family, Wakmann was the US distributor of Breitling watches from the 1940s to the 1970s. Some watches from this era were actually co-signed as Breitling/Wakmann; however Wakmann also brought their own line of sporting timepieces to the market, often utilizing Breitling's supply chain of high grade components but retailed with entry level price points.

This particular piece, a Gigandet Wakmann Triple Date Chronograph from the late 1960s, is driven by a Valjoux 72C which was a specialized Valjoux calendar movement based on the 72. At roughly 37mm in diameter, it offers an exceptional wrist feel and it's sporty dial makes it aesthetically pleasing. In excellent condition over all, this Gigandet Wakmann is a great way to get your hands on a great looking Triple Date Chronograph.
