Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. FS: Croton Nivada Grenchen Monza Racing Chronograph Valjoux 92 C

For sale from my personal collection is this amazing 1970’s Croton Racing Chronograph featuring a Valjoux 92 column wheel movement. Croton was the USA export brand for renowned Swiss Watch Brand Nivada Grenchen.

The watch is in excellent condition, the acrylic domed crystal is scratch free, the stainless steel case has never been polished, the sunburst brushing on the top of the case is splendid and the watch overall is in a great condition for a watch over 40 years old.
The black dial has got recessed subcompaxes, a red seconds hand and a white ,minute counter hand, the tritium lume has aged nicely and is intact.

Diameter without crowns is 37.3mm, with crown 38.8mm, 41mm length, 12,2 mm thickness including the highly domed 3mm crystal, it wears bigger than the numbers suggest. Lug size is 20mm and the watch comes on a new handmade period leather racing strap.

Service: Unknown service history, keeps good time, winding and setting the time are very smooth, the chronograph is working as it should and resets perfectly, pushers work crisply.
