FS: ROLEX SEA DWELLER 16600 A-SERIAL, SWISS ONLY DIAL!!

ROLEX SEA DWELLER 16600 A-SERIAL, SWISS ONLY DIAL!! - $9500

A truly stunning Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 A-serial from 1999, fitted with a 'Swiss Only' dial; the first one with Luminova markers and hands. This über-diver is in an excellent original condition and comes with its outer and inner box, all booklets, folder, seal, tag, the Sea-Dweller anchor, (complete!), and the original Rolex warranty certificate,
Stunning example of an iconic Divers Watch

A serial (1999) had the “Swiss” only dial as this was the transition year from tritium dials to luminova dials.
the Sea-Dweller was the first Rolex to include the solid end links—well before the Submariner and GMT-Master II.

The Sea-Dweller ref. 16600 also retains the chamfered edges on the lugs, which is especially appealing to vintage Rolex watch enthusiasts.

Rolex used tritium paint for their dial-markings and hands. Eventually they made the move to [Super-]LumiNova - just as all other companies did - to avoid the potential dangers inherit to radioactive materials like Radium and its successor Tritium. The 16600 was one of the models that went through the change

Fully serviced and pressure tested!

A collector's set and a wise investment. Buy and never sell.
