FS: Natalis WWII Pilot's Watch Aviator Watch 42mm Reichslufwaffe

Made in the late 1930's for aviators. German Pilot watch Natalis. The porcelain dial has some damage as is visible in the picture. It is 100% original. 42mm without the crown. The watch is working fine, very nice movement. Service history unknown. Swiss made...heavy solid nickle case with screw off case back. Large onion crown. It has a turning bezel with pointer. Both the top and bottom case covers close easily. The band is not included.

I have added a little history regarding this historical watch below.

Shipps within 24 hours unless it's a weekend. Tracking number included.

The Natalis WWII Pilot Watch refers to a vintage timepiece associated with the Natalis brand, which was known for producing reliable and functional watches during the mid-20th century. While the brand is not as widely recognized today, its WWII-era watches hold historical significance and appeal to collectors and enthusiasts of military and aviation watches.

Key Features of Natalis WWII Pilot Watches:
Aviation-Inspired Design: These watches often feature clean, legible dials with large Arabic numerals for easy reading during flight.
Luminous Details: Hands and indices typically included radium or tritium for visibility in low-light conditions, a hallmark of pilot watches from the WWII era.
Durability: Built for functionality, they were often water-resistant and made with robust materials like stainless steel cases.
Manual Wind Movements: Many WWII-era watches, including those from Natalis, were powered by manual wind movements for precision and reliability.
Oversized Crown: Designed to allow pilots to adjust the time easily, even while wearing gloves.
Classic Aesthetic: A simple and utilitarian design reflecting the practical needs of pilots during wartime.
Collectibility and Value:
Historical Appeal: Natalis pilot watches are sought after by collectors for their connection to WWII and their timeless design.
Condition: The value of a Natalis WWII pilot watch depends heavily on its condition, originality, and working status.
Rarity: As a less widely recognized brand, authentic Natalis watches from the WWII era can be harder to find, adding to their uniqueness.
