FSOT: FS: Omega Speedmaster Prof., ref. 145.022-68, "transitional"

Dear All,

Another watch from my collection up for your consideration: Omega Speedmaster Professional, Ref. 145.022-68, so called “transitional” as it is already powered with cal. 861, but still has the dial of the former 321 Speedies (step-dial and applied logo). The overall condition of the watch is good. I suppose that the hands have been changed (with the exception of the chrono hand). Dial is in very good condition and shows a nice patina. Case is in very good condition – no major scratches or dings. The caseback unfortunately has a scratch (please note, the respective photo shows the caseback with a protective sticker on it). Movement is nice and clean. As I always disclose the conditions of my watches as accurate as possible, I would like to point out that the movement might have to be oiled, since it does not wind as smoothly as my other Speedies. Further, the hand of the minute register does “count” the minutes up to 5 even if the chrono function is not actived. The watch will come with a new 1171 bracelet (full length) in very good condition. The box shown in the pictures is not part of the sale.

I’ll let this beauty go for USD 2’700 (plus s+i) or any reasonable offer. Tradewise, I’m might be tempted by a Panerai (preferably 210, 187 or 312).
