FS: NOS Carrera 1553 S for sale????

Due to too much buying lately I have decided to sell this gem if I can get the right price. But what is the right price for a NOS Heuer?

Some time ago around five NOS Autavias 1163 were put on the market. The story was that because the Viceroy Autavias was only USD 88, quite a few “normal” Autavias were not sold and ended up in drawers. The first of these NOS Autavias sold for more than USD 4.000 as far as I know.

Carreras are not affected by the Viceroy problem, so NOS ones must be very scarce and this one comes with the original and NOS big red box worth around USD 600.

I will ask for bids around USD 4400 + insured shipping.

Ask for high res photos if you are interested.

The following text and pictures are from when I presented the watch here On The Dash:

And then it is NOS, meaning that I can’t even wear it, which is against my belief that my watches are to be used.

But it is fantastic with a dial that is like new. And the lume that is still glowing. And the grinding of the case. And the Corfam strap with a strange brownish gray colour. And the sun buckle. And the very perfect red box. And the …………………

It originally came from a former employee of the Danish Heuer agent. I have not yet spoken to him, but the seller (the second owner) will put me in contact with him. He might have some interesting stories for us.

Enjoy:
