Re: FS: Orange dial Heuer Diver 980.007

There`s been a few questions about the provenance/history of the watch, how I got it ,and why I would wish to sell it,so to clarify:

There isn`t really to much to say about the history of the watch,I was after one for a long time, got royally screwed for one on ebay (http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=30541),missed another, until one day Paul Gavin tipped me off that this one was listed on the bay.

Seller was http://myworld.ebay.com/steindiamonds ,which seems like a proper jewellers outfit that also handles quite a few high-end watches.

Here`s a post I made when I finally got it http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=31708 .
Unfortunately the whole deal with the wrong caseback never really let off,and I got very little joy out of it due to my OCD-like nature when it comes to watches..

And when the correct .007 caseback James sent me subsequently got stolen right out of my mailbox,I kinda lost all the love for it..sad but true.

The maintanance needed is just a basic cleaning of the movement, being a quartz there are very few moving parts in it,so once cleaned it will probably keep on ticking for another 30 yrs or so as long as the batteries are exchanged when needed.

I had my local TAG AD do the work of fitting the TAG replacement caseback, but I think an ordinary movement clean could be carried out by almost any watchmaker outfit.
The TAG guys who handled it said there was no need for any repairs or parts replacement, but advised me to have the movement cleaned for optimal performance.

Both watch and I are located in Norway.
Worldwide shipping registered & insured is about £25.
(depends on weight and size of package,no more than £30,and of course I won`t charge any more than the actual cost of shipping.

Regular Airmail can be discussed but only at the sole responsibility of any eventual buyer.

Think I covered it all there : )
Still up for grabs, thanks for looking.
