FS: Omega 'Truncated Line' Desk Clock

Introduced in 1963 this Omega Desk Clock model ref 5559 measures a chunky 11cm in diameter across the dial.

I believe it's from the "Truncated Line" and they came in gilt, matt black, green/silver, grey and black.

The clock is fitted with a 15j adjustable electro-mechanical calibre 095 with date (a mechanical movement with an Imhof electric winder and a 9-volt battery guaranteeing a power reserve of over one year). Movement is in good clean condition & keeping excellent time.

Excellent brushed Gilt dial with date at 6 position , polished facetted and riveted gilt baguette hour markers, polished gold coloured handset & a lovely bright red second hand , brushed gilt bezel (note loss of plating at 9 position and on outer rim) and a bronze coloured weighted case.

Glass is unmarked and outer weighted case has some slight pitting to the finished surface.

These don't come up that often so priced at £395 incl Insured RMSD - Payment by BT or Paypal as a 'Gift' - Oversea shipment terms to be agreed with Buyer.
