FS: Superb 1982 Rolex Submariner 16800

Hi

For Sale is my Superb 1982 Rolex Submariner 16800

The Watch was supplied to the UK by Steve Mulholland (http://www.mulhollandtime.com/) and is 100% genuine. It's previous owner was a Yachtsman who spent most of his time at sea off of the coast of Miami , Florida. The mixture of Sun & Salt water has led to the very cool look of this example....

This is the so called Transitional Submariner which benefits from having the Matt dial & Sapphire crystal. As you can see , the dial & handset has a wonderful creamy patina and the faded bezel insert & pearl is amazing.

Case profiles are all nice & sharp and markings between the lugs are ' 16800 ' & ' 74xxxxx ' Serial nos dating this Watch to 1982.

The Date wheel is the original open '6' & '9'

It has the original 93150 bracelet stamped 'H' and the correct 593 endlinks - bracelet has some stretch in keeping with it's age.

The Watch had a full Service by a Vintage Watch Specialist during August 2011 and included a new stem , Rolex crown & seals. The case & bracelet were left untouched as requested. Invoice for the Service is included.

Both Inner & Outer Rolex boxes are included and in excellent condition.

The Watch was checked with the Rolex Lost & Stolen line last year and was all clear.

I am looking for £3200 including delivery -

Payment via Bank Transfer only -

Plenty of references available -

All the best - Neil
