FSOT: Omega "non-ac" SMP MIDSIZE model 2236.50 *PIC*

The Omega Seamaster model 2236.50 is the midsize version of what has popularly come to be known as the “non-America’s Cup, or non-ac”. Differences between this model and the more common everyday Seamaster, include a white gold bezel on this model, along with metal surrounds around hour markers, as well as the applied Omega logo on the dial. This watch is a considered by many to be the top of the line of the modern Seamaster lineup, the absolutely perfect pairing of sporty, yet elegant. Unfortunately, this model is no longer in production. While these do come up from time to time for sale, they are very seldom if ever the midsize model.

While some would rate this Mint, I tend to rate very conservatively, and would the state that watch is in Near Mint condition. There are some faint hairlines on the bezel, and the clasp of the bracelet shows evidence of wear, as do all the SMP models shortly after being worn. The sapphire crystal is in flawless condition, and case has no major dings or gouges. Of course, serial number is intact.

I am looking to trade this beautiful timepiece towards the “electric blue” dialed Seamaster, plus cash. Please note that I am only interested in the midsize model, and only the automatic version. The model number for the SMP I am looking for should either be 2053.80 or 2253.80, depending if it is on Bond or Speedy bracelet. Outright purchase is available for $1175 shipped within USA.

I have tons of online references, please feel free to email with questions or for more photos.
