Speedmaster 2915-3 UPDATE-
If you or anyone on the forum is searching for an early speedy, I have finally finished servicing the 2915-3 with Alpha Hands and original 1000-meter tachymetre bezel ring circa 1958. My previous post was apparently premature, because I didn't get it done until a few weeks ago; June 2012. I have left the case in original condition, and I will refinish it if requested by the buyer but felt it looks better as it is. It is an extremely rare version as Antiquorum has confirmed recently to me, and it is being offered as a head-only unless I locate a bracelet soon.
I am asking $9500 or Best-Offer, and if I don't find a buyer this month it is slated for the Antiquorum December 5 NYC Auction. I can send pictures if you are interested. It is a great watch and is ready to wear. I am selling it to pay for my workshop buildout, otherwise it would stay in my collection.

: I have an all-original Omega 2915-3 for sale. It has been serviced
: by me recently, and I am a former Swatch Group Service Center
: watchmaker.
: The watch is in original used condition without bracelet. All parts
: are original Omega. The 2915-3 has the transitional Alpha hands
: with the original "Omega Speedmaster"-only dial. It
: has the black painted bezel with tachymeter ring. the only thing
: I have replaced is the plastic crystal and the gaskets with
: genuine omega replacements. Otherwise it is a 321 chrono
: movement in excellent condition. Case has wear and dings from
: 50+ years of use, and is in overall Very-Good condition showing
: wear to the bezel ring, aging of dial and hand luminous, and
: aging of white painted chrono sweep and subdial hands.
: I am not posting pictures of it until I have a request from an
: interested person willing to discuss a realistic offer. Please
