Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. FS: 70’s Zodiac Chrono: Cal 12 movement, cool dial - watch

F
I purchased this chrono from a Timezoner some years back - supposedly as fully functioning / working. It was not the case when I received it and my watchmaker highlighted 3 new parts needed to get it to working order. I sourced one but have not had the time, patience etc to complete the project.

At worst - the movement can be used for spares for any Cal12 or even Cal11 chrono from Heuer/Breitling/Buren - the Hamilton Fontainebleau has the same movement as well. Spare parts are hard to come by and expensive .

At best - the movement can be fixed and you have a beautiful 70’s chrono with a famous movement probably now worth possibly 1,000USD plus
I will send it with the part I purchased (part number 8200 on the Cal12 parts list). The other 2 parts are 1428 and 1482 – I will send the pictured parts catalogue page with needed parts highlighted.

I am asking for 300USD including paypal and shipping fees - contact email me on kitwegeorge@gmail.com . I am willing to discuss sensible offers . I have many references for sales of high end and vintage pieces
