FS: Vintage TAG Heuer 1000M Deep Dive 980.023 c86-91

This is a stunning piece, the best I've seen. It's not NOS, but in fantastic shape. Also, it is a full set, which is hard to find.. with bracelet, papers, box and outer cardboard box. (Correct signed bracelet, and signed crown at 4 o'clock) Bezel is in superb shape, usually they are scratched up.. it really is a nice little number, a proper old school tool watch.

Case is untouched, with sharp edges between the brushed and polished areas.. a few light surface scratches, but nothing to write home about.
I don't really want to sell, but needs must right now (need to help out my Mom).

Since the photos below were taken, I had James 'the relume master' relume the hands, as the lume was brittle and now they are a perfect match to the dial. (it is common for these older Heuer/TAG Heuers to have a slightly diffierent hand lume to dial - best guess is that different dept's did the hands to the dial). James also refilled the lume pip on the bezel.

Anyway, it's superb, keeping perfect time and a very cool diver, buyer will not be disappointed.

£800 ono BT preferred, inc. delivery.

Any questions, just fire away.

A full write up on this actual watch is one my blog: http://heuerville.wordpress.com/2012/03/18/tag-heuer-980-023n-deep-dive-1000m/

Looks the business on rubber too (not inc)..

From the '86 catalogue...
