Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Original Omega Seamaster case, movement and crown, circa 1960,s. The dial was replaced with a new and authentic Omega Seamaster 300 dial, as the luminescent material on the original dial and hands was substantially faded. However, I am including the original dial, hands and crystal, as the original crystal was also replaced w/a genuine Omega (with proper marking)crystal. Please see pictures.
This watch includes the original-to-the-watch 1039 bracelet and 516 end-links in TZ "good" condition. The bracelet has some spacing (one gap at either end, possibly missing two links but big enough for a 7 3/4 - 8" wrist). The bracelet surface/finish is actually in very good shape. The end-links are somewhat bent, but in good and useable shape. It's actually a very comfortable bracelet to wear.
Overall, the watch case is in very good condition. The case back is somewhat worn down, but in very good shape otherwise. This watch has NO major dings/gouges, and the case really is in fantastic shape for a watch this old. The outer bezel is ORIGINAL to the watch as well -It has only a slight fade or maybe peel (?) at the arrow at the 12 position. It clicks into place as it should. *ALSO, this watch keeps spot-on time, it is VERY accurate, really running great.
The watch has a quick-set date (also ALL ORIGINAL), and comes with a certificate of authenticy and full service, indicating it is water-resistant/pressure sealed to 200 ft. One again, it has the ORIGINAL screw-down crown.
It will come with the pictured nato strap as well. Asking $3,400. I have many TZ references, and would welcome a local Southern California transaction, or will ship insured within the continental U.S. (at cost elsewhere) Picture follows. *I have been unable to figure out how to post multiple images here. So, please e-mail for more pictures or check out my ad on TZ. Thanks!
