FS: Rolex Submariner 14060M year2002

Hi all,

My first time using this forum, but have great feedback from other sites... :)

This is a Rolex Submariner 14060M, from 2002.

100% Genuine Rolex and fabulous condition. My hope is the photos do a good enough job making that clear.

All components work as they should: the bezel, crown, movement.

Actually, that's one of the beauties of this particular model with no date: there isn't much to it, not much to go wrong!

In fact, the interesting thing about this reference is that it's quickly starting to look like the final step of the bridge from the vintage Subs to modern Subs.

The first element that is key is the no-date. That really tones down the "look at me" Rolex design...

The size at 40mm is also key. I honestly don't know why anyone would want any watch larger than that...

But this reference also has a sapphire crystal and a more up to date movement, and the final piece to this puzzle is the strap.

We all have opinions, but what makes the Submariner the most ubiquitous watch of all time is the SS strap!

There are millions of submariners out there and all with similar or the exact same strap.

But change it to a handmade leather one, one that really accentuates the aluminum bezel, and the eventual patina that (hopefully) should form with age, and it's pure one-of-a-kind magic!

That's what this strap does.

I did not open the caseback because the last to open it was Rolex.

And so far, timing has been super accurate and very strong. If there is any change in that as I continue to time and check the watch, I will update.

Please see photos as they are part of the description and ask any questions.

Asking $4250 OBO - all offers (and possible trades, if interested) welcome.

Thank you!

Anthony
