FS: Vintage Abercrombie and Fitch Seafarer (Heuer) wit

Mid 1960’s Abercrombie and Fitch Seafarer chronograph with Valjoux 72 movement. 40mm (without crown and pushers) all stainless steel snapback case. This watch has the extra tide measurement function. These watches were made by Heuer for A&F and Orvis to be sold in their sporting goods stores. Stainless steel bezel with aluminum insert. Original colorful dial and hands are in good condition with some discolorization around the marker indices (see photos). The button at the 9 o’clock position sets the tide marker, which is then driven by the movement. The stainless steel bezel has some slight wear around its edges from regular use. Comes with a large-sized rare Gay Freres, Heuer signed link band (these usually sell for $250 and upwards). Bezel insert is in very good condition. Runs well and all chronograph functions work correctly. $2800 plus postage.
