Thanks for the question...I thought I might get this one. As I looked through all the pictures I could of A3817 and A3818's I don't believe they had ruler straight edges. Here is a link to all the A3817's on Instagram and as you can see none have razor straight edges ( http://sixmoment.com/a3817 ). My watch for sale does not have perfectly straight edges but the entire watch case is crisp and clean. The brushed edges and smooth edges transition smoothly and show no signs of "heavy polishing." Please feel free to email me with more questions if you are interested in purchasing the watch. I feel comfortable saying the watch is near perfect.
