FSOT: Omega Speedmaster Pro Cal 861 with Rare Dial

I am selling my “project watch”.

This watch is an original Omega Speedmaster Professional, cal 861, circa 1985, Case # ST 145022 Movement Serial # 48,224,XXX. The watch has an original hesalite crystal that is in excellent condition. The case shows some wear but is in overall good condition. The bezel has a few nicks but nothing that would warrant a change. The watch comes with the original dial and hands that show minimal, but nice patina. However, it is currently fitted with a rare grayish Mark II “Racing” type dial and hands, with orange seconds hand, minute counter and hour counter (ALA the Japan Speedy). The watch functions flawlessly and resets to zero. Comes on a Black Hirsch Carbon Strap with Orange stitching. This is a nice opportunity to purchase a cal 861 with all the original parts plus enjoy a fun racing dial. Any competent watchmaker should be able to switch dials and hands for a nominal cost.

I do not have any box or papers for this watch. I have many TimeZone references since 1997 as well as watchnet and Chronocentric references. Please email me for pictures of the watch or with any questions. Asking $1,500, price includes shipping anywhere in the CONUS. I will accept paypal +3%. I am only interested in the following trades and will make the appropriate cash adjustment:

AP Royal Oak Chronograph (White or Blue dial)
AP Royal Oak 15300 ST (Black or Blue dial)

Thanks
Hank
