FS: FOUR BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE OMEGAS 1952-1971

In anticipation of some new arrivals (and to get some cash) I've reluctantly decided to put a few of my vintage Omega's up for sale. In age order we have….

Omega Bumper Chronometer ca 1952
Beautiful 14k gold filled Omega ref G6213 with the 354 chronometer bumper movement. Serial number 11004293 dates the watch to circa 1952. Case and dial are in superb condition with no marks or scratches and the watch comes with the original signed Omega crown. The champagne dial has a very handsome mottled patina that is perfectly in keeping with the age of the watch. The watch dimensions (without crown) are 32x38x10 and it comes on a dark brown leather strap that sets off the watch very nicely. The watch was fully serviced in January 07. Overall I would say it was TZ 87%+.
Asking $370

Omega Seamaster Automatic Date ca 1963
Very nice 14k gold shell Omega Seamaster reference 166.010-63SC with the thick lugs. Calibre 562 24 jewel quickset automatic movement (essentially the same as the renowned calibre 561 chronometer movement but without the certification) has serial number 20723209 dating it to circa 1963. Original signed silver satin crosshair dial with raised gold markers is in near mint condition. Stainless steel case back is unpolished and the elevated Seamaster Seahorse logo is deep and crisp. Dimensions (without crown) are 36x43x11 and the watch is set off perfectly by a beautiful authentic Ostrich skin strap and new genuine Omega 18k solid gold buckle. Overall condition would be TZ 90%

Omega Seamaster Geneve ca 1968
Superb condition stainless steel Seamaster Geneve. Calibre 565 24j quickset automatic movement is excellent condition with serial number 27571618 dating it to circa 1968. The watch has a stunning original pearlescent dial in perfect condition that unfortunately the pictures do not do justice to. The case back has the engraved Seahorse logo crisp and clear on the outside and the inside has stamped reference 166.037 SP. The watch comes with the original Omega crown, a recently fitted genuine Omega crystal with date magnifier and an Omega stainless steel bracelet. Watch dimensions (without crown) are 35x40x11 and I would put the overall condition of this watch at TZ 93%.

Omega Seamaster 'Oval' ca 1971
A very distinctive and rare Omega Seamaster in excellent condition. This is the elusive Model reference 166.092 that is mentioned at the bottom of Steve Waddington's excellent summary of Omega Pilot Line watches (http://www.old-omegas.com/pilotline.html). A very distinctive design in every sense, the dial is a silver/grey with yellow internal minute track. The dial shows some signs of aging but is in good overall condition and absolutely original as are the black and yellow stick hands. The other unusual feature is the large slightly oval shaped case which is 42mm across (excluding the crown). Total length of the watch lug to lug is 44mm and the watch is a reasonable13mm thick. The watch shares the same renound calibre 1002 automatic movement as the famous SM dive watches (including the Ploprof). The signed 17J automatic calibre has a quick set date feature and hacking seconds and a 33 million serial number dating it to circa 1971. The case has recently been professionally and sensitively polished and retains the distinctive sharp edges along with the Seahorse logo in heavy raised relief on the original screwed case back. The case has an internal dust cover and is signed on the inside with reference 166.092. The watch has the correct signed Omega crown and thick flat crystal and comes with an aftermarket ridged rubber strap with deployment clasp and fliplock. Overall I would rate this extremely rare and unusual watch at TZ 90%.
