Some of you will know I like to buy Heuer watches in a bad condition and give them a second chance.
This time I am offering something completely different.
I had the chance to buy this stunning Heuer Autavia 15630T "silver dial" from the original owner.
This watch has all the original parts as when sold new, nothing has been changed, the case has never been poslihed,
Hour markers and hands still have the original tritium.
I decided to keep the watch exactly as it is.

So case is in the original condition with the sunburst graining in the upper case clearly visible and the bevelled edges very sharp.
Of course there are several scratches and nicks that you can see very well in my pictures.
But in all honesty, nothing disturbing; in fact the case is in perfect harmony with the dial, hands, bezel and crystal.
( it makes no sense having a mint refurbished case with a worn bezel and scratched crystal )

Dial is perfect ( spots you see in the pics are in the crystal ); dial is just spotless.
Best of all is that the orange accents ( hands, hour markers and trim in the right subdial ) are incredibly bright and fluo for a watch of this age.
And I can guarantee that nothing has been redone or changed. The hands are the original! Nothing has been repainted.
If you look well in the pics you will see that some of the white paint on the base of the hands has come off. That says enough.

Tachymeter bezel with lume dot at 12 o'clock is in worn but fair condition.
Bezel is turning as it should with the correct clicking sound ( all clicker balls still there ).
Mineral crystal in fairly good condition with some very light scratches.

Mechanically the watch is working perfectly 100%.
It just had a complete movement service by my watchmaker. So I give a 12 month guarantee on the movement.
Time keeping, power reserve and chrono perfect.

The watch I am offering here might be still flying under the radar; if you look around you will see that this 15630T with silver dial doesn't come up for sale very often.
In my opinion it's much better looking than the 11630 silver dial because of the asymmetric dial lay-out. ( dial lay-out you will also find on the 1163 "Exotic" )
So is this a watch you should add to your collection? Maybe, maybe not. One thing I can say, it's a real cool looking watch. I cannot capture in my pics how good it looks.
Those bright fluo orange accents and perfect silver dial makes it a real looker. The colour of the dial will change from silver to a nice champagne colour depending on the light conditions.
