Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]

FS: Heuer Autavia 2446 transitional

For sale is a Heuer Autavia 2446 transitional. The serial number is 830XX.

Details:

Dial: The original 3rd execution dial is clean and untouched, showing even, age appropriate patina consistent with other 2446 transitional examples.

Movement: The Valjoux 72 movement is clean and the watch is running, keeping time and the chronograph functions correctly. Service history of the watch is not known and a service is recommended.

Case: Stainless steel case appears unpolished and shows light surface wear/scratches. The caseback shows some deeper case wrench scratches. The serial number is visible between the lugs.

Hands: The hands are 3rd execution steel with tritium and appear to be untouched.

Bezel: The bezel is the correct transitional bezel with the bezel insert showing aging and signs of wear.

Additional photos will be provided on request.

In keeping with the rarity and the condition of this Autavia, I'm looking for the best offer over $24,000. This is consistent with the visual appeal of the watch, as well as the clear market direction shown by the most recent auction results. The watch can be personally delivered in Miami, New York or London in early December or shipped (insured) in the US. Payment by wire (or by US drawn check deposited into my bank account). International shipping is available, subject to the buyer being fully responsible for any country specific duties/taxes. Free priority insured shipping to OTD members.

My name is Alex Grinberg and I'm a watch collector and dealer (IWJG) based in Denver, Colorado. US and international references will be provided upon request.

Please feel free to email me at alexgdenver@gmail.com or call/text on +1 720 917 6497.

Many thanks to Jeff and OTD for the space.
