This forum is for BUYING, SELLING and TRADING only--not for discussing watches. Please limit postings to specific ads for buying, selling or trading watches, parts or accessories that that match at least one of the following categories:

Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]

FS: Rare Heuer Autavia transitional 2446 "Jochen Rindt".

For sale is my rare Heuer Autavia " Jochen Rindt" 2446 transitional. The serialnumber is 834XX.
I bought the watch In the Netherlands a couple of years ago from the first owner.

Hands: 3rd. execution and with original tritium in excellent condition.

Bezel: Great condition with hardly any sign of wear.

Case: stainless steel case, no scratches or other damage. The caseback is excellent in- and outside, so are
the textdetails. Serialnumber very good visible between the lugs. Crown and pushers look untouched.
Crown unmarked as should be.

Dial: The 3rd.execution dial is in great untouched condition, with hardly any patina.Name, logo, numbers, all excellent.

Movement: The movement, Valjoux 72, is running great, keeping time and so is the chrono function.

Unfortunately I cannot add pictures, but can be sent on request.

Because of the rarity of this transitional Autavia 2446 "Jochen Rindt" I am looking for the best offer over € 22.500,-, also because of the results
of the last sales by websites and auctions for even watches of not the same quality. I think this is a fair start.

I am living in the Netherlands and watch can be picked up or shipped insured world wide.
The buyer will be fully responsible for duties or taxes.

I am reducing my Heuer collection of about 20 vintage Heuer watches, a lot of stopwatches and parts. List can be sent too.

My name is Luuk Rengers, Porsche & vintage Heuer collector, and living in the Netherlands.
