FS: Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 1665 Rail Dial Amazing Patina

Offered for sale is a stunning example of the iconic ref. 1665 Sea Dweller (5.7M Serial #) in great condition. This particular example is part of a small batch that were fitted with the famed “Rail Dial”. The watch was recently serviced and runs great.

Details:

Dial: The original “Rail Dial” is in great condition with a stunning yellow patina with original matching hands. The dial and lume plots are 100% untouched. There is a faint blemish/scratch on the dial located at the “E” in “DATE”. Any other sorts of blemishes that may appear in the photos are tiny scratches or lint on the crystal and not on the actual dial.

Case: Stainless steel case is in great condition with no major blemishes and remains thick. Reference and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs. Bezel insert has faded to a gorgeous gray hue complimenting the overall vintage character of the watch.

Bracelet: The watch comes fitted with its original 93150 oyster bracelet (VC clasp code) with 10+1 links and 585 end links in great condition showing light stretch.

Additional: The watch comes fitted with its original silver date disc with open 6s and 9s. It was recently serviced by a Rolex trained watchmaker and runs great. No other accessories are included.

Asking $17,450 by wire (or check deposited to my bank account) shipped and insured within the US or face to face in the Los Angeles area. International shipping available at an additional cost.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. Buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me. Due to the complexity of shipping to the US from abroad, all international sales are final.
