For Sale is an early 1970's vintage Zenith El Primero "Big Blue" TV Case chronograph watch, blue dial configuration with three subregisters. The watch is powered by the legendary 36000 vph El Primero movement with a 48 hour power reserve. Item is in good used condition, TZ Rated conservatively at 84%, with scratches throughout the case, slight bending of the inset integrated lugs, and possible replacement hand for the running seconds subdial. The case exhibits wear and damage consistent or even better than to be expected for a watch this age, but the original edges, bevels and finishing are intact. The blue dial is in incredible original condition. All text is complete and clear. Original hands throughout, with the possibility that the running seconds hand is a replacement; the color is a light teal, and I'm not sure if it's from age or replacement. Currently timing at about -3/s a day, service history unknown. Case, crown, pushers, dial, are all original. Movement and chronograph functions while crown and pushers are fully operational if possibly a bit loose. Movement could probably use a service and lubrication even though it operates incredibly well and timing is near spot on. Original first generation Chatelain bracelet is included, and is sturdy and secure. Clasp has either been replaced or polished as Zenith logo is not shown. Item includes the following:
