Hi Allen,

Thanks for the message. I mean to say near mint for the inner parts (that those parts are always impossible to repair or restore, like the dial, movement, hands, etc). Untouched pieces, are rarely found these days. And yes, I am the first person to open the watch.

The rest of the scratches on the case are very superficial and if anyone would like, get a full polish, and the watch may just looked like almost a brand new watch. This is the most ideal watch for restoration candidate.

I do understand what you meant though, and I sincerely apologise my use of words. Yes, the case is not near mint, it is in "excellent condition without any major damage that a full polish is not able to remove". And the dial, hands, movement, crown and pushers are all in near mint condition. Hope the above helps clarify. And thank you Allen for pointing that out. And no, you are not being difficult here, but just being a good forummer here. ;-)

Thanks and apologies to those who might find the description offending.

Sincerely,
Jack W
