FS: Bremont EP 120 Spitfire Chronograph

Super Marine Spitfire call sign EP120 still flying today ; manufacture date Summer 1942

The pictures are not quite the latest but this is what the watch will look like dial wise and apart from the distressed nature of the Aircraft parts that make up the 'movement propeller' the Artists impression is what the back will look like too.

Modifications:
The watch is black diamond coated, GMT 7753 modified, internal bezel, Crowns are knurled with the same pattern as Spitfire tyres, the handset is the same handset used for the Smiths Spitfire clock, seconds hand is the propeller of the Spitfire, painted the same as the dial so not so obvious, one 30 min counter at 12pm is milled from aluminium taken from the above Spitfire and is based on the 'Trip Clock', 7 confirmed kills in WWII still flying, name of the watch is EP 120, that is the call sign of the actual Spitfire in question and there will be only 120 of these watches.

Details of the plane are here: http://www.fighter-collection.com/pages/aircraft/spit_v/index.php

Movement
The movement will have incorporated into the black rotor weight is a further Spitfire propeller which is made from original material from this iconic watch, the movement will also be modified to the usual Bremont standard.

Strap
The strap in the pictures is only being used as it has a similar hue and the strap will not be Crocodile. They are trying to use the original material that was used for the Spitfire Pilot's parachute and the same hue so a type of textile strap.
Packaging. Leather box, spare straps, some PR material about the watch Spitfire hopefully.

What can i say? it is a very cool watch. Some of you have met Nick and know that they do good things so I am sure it will be amazing to own. Bremont have told me that the list is beginning to grow for the watch. The watch is available from ATG with a £1000 non - refundable deposit at the moment I can pick from teh serial numbers that are left. After Basel i fear they will all be gone.
