I'm offering on behalf of a friend a beautiful Zenith A386 El Primero.
The watch is probably one of the most desirable chronographs from the late 60s early 70s. Prices have sky rocket lately and it's almost impossible to find honest examples in nice condition. The case of the present watch is in thick, in good shape with sharp edges and the original finish still visible. The NATO star caseback shows some signs of age but is also in good condition with the serial number still visible. The serial number 86xDxxx matches the other parts such as dial (H and A not aligned) and the shape of the lugs (with step). The dial shows some patina but I believe the original tritium is still in place as well as in the hands. In my opinion its a beautiful original dial and certainly amongst the better ones we see. The watch is equipped with the thicker style sub dial hands. The crown has been changed during a service and the movement works smoothly as it should. All chronograph functions operate flawlessly and the watch runs accurate.
Please have a look at the pictures, they are not altered in any way and were taken this morning.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. The watch, the owner and myself are located in the EU. Plenty of feedback is available upon request.
Price is € 13750 net plus shipment of your choice. The watch comes on the pictured high quality leather strap. Unfortunately, the original bracelet is not available.
Thanks for looking.
