A marketplace for chronographs, dive watches and other tool-type wristwatches and timepieces
Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
I am reposting this watch - another price reduction, as well as some UPDATED info.
For sale is a Heuer Camaro 9220T (head only).
1. Price: $4350 OBRO; all reasonable offers will be considered. Shipping and payment fees will be responsibility of the buyer (Paypal F&F preferred; Bank wire is also easy enough).
2. I have learned that this EXACT watch is the one that is pictured on OnTheDash as a reference example for the 9220T. Link here:
3. I have also learned that this EXACT watch was previously sold from Bulang & Sons:
I am providing this info as I learn more interesting things about this watch...and to give as much background as possible.
FOR PICTURES, please check out the Bulang & Sons link for multiple pictures. I have been using photobucket and they are not letting me 3rd party host. For interested potential buyers, I will send more pics, including movement pics. Thanks.
Now for the details:
The silvered dial is in original condition. There is some browning at the edge on the 3 o'clock side and a small mark on the 7-minute marker).
The hands are original and have aged; no reluming.
Winding crown is original as well; there is a dent on the edge. I can send a pic although it is visible on the B&S link as well. As far as I know, the pushers are original as well.
The case is honest. There are scratches and dings that are keeping with the age. The watch is not overpolished. The lugs and edges are sharp.
Chronograph is functioning, resets to zero, watch is winding appropriately, and appears to be running. I have not timed for accuracy. Watch sold as is. I do not know the service history of the watch, but no guarantees for a vintage watch. Hoping that the information above (including being sold previously by a respected vendor) might be helpful here.
I am located in San Francisco, F2F is possible.
I am a watch lover with a small collection, not a dealer. I am happy to answer all questions ahead of time. Please look carefully at the photos, as they are part of the description of the watch. That all being said, I cannot accommodate returns (unless watch is misrepresented in this ad) - sales are final!!
