This Holland Diving 50 atm professional diver, with traceable connections to similar Eterna, Record and Nautilus watches with the same case, bezel, and to some extent dial, is fully original and unpolished. There is a lot of information to be found online on these, amongst others the following quote: “The watch shares the same case, bezel inlay design, dial layout and hands with the Bucherer Professional Diver or the Nautilus 500M Pro Diver. Similar models were produced in limited numbers for other commercial dive companies like Holland Diving and others back then. Same case was also used for the Technos Skydiver and the Bianchi diver.”

Beautiful vintage dive watch with the qualitative automatic ETA 2872 inside. Bought by me from the first (Dutch) owner. Nice original vintage condition. The large case is unpolished and shows all factory lines, next to a very nice contrast between the satinized and polished finishes on the surfaces. The bezel insert is intact with only some lighter scratches/stains. It shows some nice fading in certain light under certain angles. The matt black dial is in good condition, the text is bright and sharp. The tritium is, just like in the hands, a nice shade of vanilla yellow. The mineral glass is good with only minor scratches.

The watch is thus 100% factory original, with natural ageing marks. Diameter is approximately 42mm crown excluded, on a lug-to-lug of approximately 46mm. The watch requires a 20mm strap or bracelet.

The watch has just returned from a full service (taken apart, new oil, adjusted, and some new parts). The caliber is crisp and runs perfectly. The crown is screw-down and screws 4 to 5 winds. The bezel clicks very solid. A fully functional professional diver in other words, but I do of course not guarantee waterproofness of this vintage piece.

The watch is sold head-only, so the tropic sport, NSA bracelet, and suede vintage strap from the pictures are not included (and not for sale).
