FS: STUNNING RED HEUER CIGAR STYLE BOX FROM THE SEVENTIES

Hi guys,
Just bought this super cool red Heuer "cigar style" box dating the early seventies.
I bought it with that Autavia 1163V with spider plexi.
Not sure what happened to both items. I really don't believe this was the result of a fire even if one would think so.

I have seen other of these red boxes that turned over to that red/black color.
Anyway it looks really stunning. I just don't want to keep it because I know it will end up in a drawer.
Ideally I would like to see it go to a real Heuer collector that would display the item together with his watches.
Certainly a very cool item that draws the attention and can be the start of a nice conversation on vintage racing watches.

The condition of the box is pretty good ( apart from the color change ) with the hinges working perfect.
Of course this is not an item you want if you are a NOS guy.
If you like the history ( that we don't know :-) ) and the patina this can be something for you.

Really hard to price given the very unique condition.
So I'll let the market decide.

Price: looking for offers starting from 450 euros
( highest offer within 24 hours gets the box )

Best regards,
Bernard
