: A very early vintage Japan Domestic Market (JDM) Seiko 5 Sports
: Speed-Timer 6139-6000 'Pogue' from May 1969.
: DO NOT mistake this for the later and much more common export
: versions that has just 'Seiko Automatic Chronograph' script on
: the dial.
: This one has a gorgeous sunburst golden yellow dial, and red and
: blue 'Pepsi' bezel.
: A later, export version of this watch was worn by Col. William
: Pogue on board Skylab 4 into space in 1973 - making it the first
: automatic chronograph to be worn in space (don't believe what
: the Sinn collectors tell you!)

: yellow to white with age.
: Original unpolished case, excellent condition dial and hands and
: bezel with marks consistent with a 48 year old watch.
: The red chrono hand is the correct 2-piece configuration.
: It even has the original, correct, slightly domed crystal!
: Has features of the earliest production run: notch case, 'Proof'
: dial, 'Proof' caseback.

: there's always the cheaper, commoner export version.
: Comes with matching aftermarket Seiko bracelet.
