FS: Beautoful Seiko 6217-7000 Olympic World Time GMT

For your consideration a beautiful Seiko Olympic World Time GMT in great condition for its age. A practical watch, made in stainless steel with a 37mm diameter.

There are twenty-four time-zones represented by cities throughout the world are depicted on a bi-directional rotating inner bezel, which is also accompanied by a day/night indicator bezel, and distinctive auto-setting GMT hand.

The variant I have here, is made in 1967, one with the silver dial, black/blue day/night indicator, white rotating 24hr time-zone bezel, and a red GMT hand.

Powered by a fully automatic 17 jewel caliber 6217A, the silver linen dial is in great condition, all original including the case, crown and a stamped Olympic torched case-back.

FYI: Lug width is 19mm, not the more common 18mm or 20mm. it has quite reasonable power reserve, between 24 and 36 hours. Crown stem is triple action (first position rotates 24 timezone bezel, second position sets the date, third position sets time). You cannot set the date between 21:00 and 1:00 o'clock.
