Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). FSOT: 1971 Tudor Cotton Bowl

For sale or trade I have a 1971 Cotton Bowl Tudor 7996/0. These were given to all players from the 1971 Cotton Bowl (Texas vs. Notre Dame). This particular watch belonged to the UT team doctor. It was recently serviced and is running well. It appears to be on the original C&I bracelet that measures 7.0'' including the case. It measures 34mm x 41mm. There is a scratch on the cyclops window and a chip on the lower right edge of the crystal. I believe this is the original crystal and could easily be swapped out to a fresh one if the new owner desires. There are some scratches on the case back but it is in good shape for a 47 year old watch. It has the proper Rolex crown and case back with the team doctor's name engraved on the back. There appears to be a smudge or piece of dirt (I don't know what it is) on the dial above the "7" in 1971. Please check the link for pics that I took today. Watch only - no box or papers but will guarantee money back if it's not authentic.

Asking $3100 and will ship anywhere in the world (signature required). Not responsible for customs duties. Can take PayPal (confirmed user for 11+ years) or wire transfer.

These are rare (they only made them for two college football teams in 1971) and are increasingly collectible.
