FS: Universal Geneve Tri-Compax Eric Clapton

From my private collection, I am selling this 1967 Universal Geneve Tri-Compax Ref. 881101/1, aka ‘Eric Clapton’, powered Caliber 821. The watch has a "Mark I" dial with the attractive blue steel central chronograph hand only seen in the early execution of this model (not the red of the later versions).

The bezel has no signs visible to the naked eye and the dial holds all the original crisp lettering with luminescent hour markers consistently aged with the hands. The case presents signs of wear with no major scratches. The rare UG bracelet is included. The attached photos will do the rest of the talk.

I will regret selling this watch, but I must let it go due to a couple of upcoming grails, which means that no trades will be considered.

I am looking for a quick sale and the first offer above 16,500 Euro (net to me) will take it, shipped/insured to your doorstep. Payment via bank wire, no paypal. Worldwide reference available on request. Alternatively, you can search for me thru the OnTheDash archive, where I have been an active member since a long time.

Happy to answer any question. Thank you.

Best,
Francesco
