FS: Wittnauer 242T

On offer's the nicest example of a 242T I've seen. The huge 39mm (without signed crown) stainless steel case is in great shape and has clearly never been polished. There are light signs of wear, as is commensurate with age, but it's a stunner, with the bevels on the lugs still sharp.

This watch has spent the last 40 years in a safe and looks the part. Everything aside from the crystal is original. All lume is complete and matching, and the matte dial (with glossy rings on the subregisters) is flawless, from the decimal chapter ring to the big globes of lume at each hour mark. The Valjoux 72 keeps excellent time, the chronograph starts/stops/resets without issue, and the caseback has markings to indicate a service, but I don't know when it was. Regardless, it works perfectly.

Asking $10k on this. Please be in touch if you'd like more pictures, or have questions, or would like references. I'm happy to work out shipping and payment methods with buyer, though I do not have ParcelPro, so cannot insure international shipping. Thanks Jeff/CT for the space.
